YSF is a vibrant and rapidly growing 501(c)(3) non-profit with an increasingly visible presence in Vero Beach and beyond. Here are a few ways your sponsorship will have an impact:

• Sailing develops self-confidence, accountability, decision-making, teamwork, STEM principles, environmental stewardship, and a host of other benefits that contribute to well-rounded successful young lives.
• YSF's beginner programs are free of charge, eliminating financial and other demographic barriers and reaching a broad range of Indian River County children, regardless of background and means.
• 130 students, ages 8 to 18, participate in YSF programs on a weekly basis.
• Demand for elementary and middle school programs far exceeds current resources.
• YSF offers special-needs sailing for children and adults.
• Cooperative efforts with environmental agencies engage young sailors in hands-on ecological projects.
• YSF partners with Boys & Girls Club, Homeless Children's Foundation, Gifford Youth Achievement Center, Youth Guidance, The Arc, and Special Olympics Florida-Indian River County to reach underserved and special needs individuals
