7th Annual Rock The Boat Gala to benefit Youth Sailing Foundation

Serving the children of Indian River County for over ten years!

We invite you to come aboard as an event sponsor for our 7th Annual Rock The Boat Gala, to be held at Quail Valley River Club in Vero Beach on Monday, March 15, 2021.

Youth Sailing Foundation is funded almost entirely by individual donors, and our Rock The Boat gala is our #1 source of income. By becoming an event sponsor you will contribute directly to our efforts to change young lives in Indian River County. Won't you give today?

YSF is a vibrant and rapidly growing 501(c)(3) non-profit with an increasingly visible presence in Vero Beach and beyond. Here are a few ways your sponsorship will have an impact:

  • Sailing develops self-confidence, accountability, decision-making, teamwork, STEM principles, environmental stewardship, and a host of other benefits attributing to well-rounded successful young lives.
  • YSF's programs are free of charge, eliminating financial and other demographic barriers and reaching a broad range of Indian River County children, regardless of background and means.
  • More than 180 students, ages 8 to 18, participate in YSF programs on a weekly basis..
  • Demand for elementary and middle school programs far exceeds current resources.
  • YSF offers special-needs sailing for children and adults.
  • The 2021 YSF summer camp had a record turn out, with a total of 200 students.
  • Cooperative efforts with environmental agencies engage young sailors in hands-on ecological projects.
  • YSF partners with Boys & Girls Club, Homeless Children's Foundation, Gifford Youth Achievement Center, Youth Guidance, The Arc, and Special Olympics Florida-Indian River County to reach underserved and special needs individuals
